• You may register for RESONANCE by mail or online (with a credit card) by clicking here. ENTRIES VIA FAX OR PHONE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
  • Please send ONE check, made payable to RESONANCE, for all fees.
  • Early Tuition Fees apply to all registrations postmarked by the earlybird deadline. If fees are not paid in full by this date, early fees will not be applied.
  • Level changes may be made during the convention; no refund will be given for “downgrading,” but participants may be charged for “upgrades.”
  • All returned checks will be subject to a $35 fee.
  • No refunds on workshop fees. NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • Dancers who are not with a studio may still register for the workshop. Independent entries can register for the workshop and participate in the Improvisation Challenge and Adjudicated Showcase.
  • Dancers are not required to perform in the showcase in order to register for the workshop. However, dancers are required to be registered for the full workshop in order to perform in the Adjudicated Showcase.
  • RESONANCE directors and guest artists will be awarding scholarships to various tap events, including future RESONANCE workshops throughout the weekend.
  • A non-tap warm-up and/or cool down will be part of the schedule for each level of dancer, so dancers are asked to bring sneakers to wear for this portion of the weekend.
  • RESONANCE scholarships may be redeemed by attaching the scholarship certificate to the workshop registration form. Photocopies of scholarships are acceptable. Contact RESONANCE directors to obtain coupon code for use when registering.
  • PLEASE NOTE: At the door, registration must be paid by cash, credit card, cashier's check or money order.
  • Once registration for RESONANCE is submitted, it is agreed that all dancers, teachers, parents and other attendees will not hold RESONANCE responsible for any injury or loss of property during the event.
  • All dancers registered for the workshop must complete and sign a RESONANCE waiver in order to participate.
  • Dancers and teachers may register for one day of convention only, however, all participants in the Adjucated showcase MUST be registered for both Saturday and Sunday.
  • One day registration may be applied to Saturday or Sunday, however, dancers should understand that certain classes on Sunday may be a continuation of things learned on Saturday.
  • One Day registrants are not eligible for scholarships or the bonus classes on Friday.
  • One Day registrants are welcome to attend the Improvisation Class and Challenge.
  • Dancers aged 5-8 are welcome to participate in our Mini convention with classes geared towards the younger dancer. Class times are shorter, allowing these young dancers to stay alert and fresh to take class from several of our guest artists. Mini Convention dancers are welcome to participate in the Adjudicated Showcase as long as they are registered for the Mini room.
  • Mini Convention dancers will not receive a lunch.
  • Parents of dancers registered for two days of class are allowed into the classroom space ONLY if they have purchased an Observer band.
  • Observers have access only to the Mini, Intermediate and Advanced rooms and will not have access to the Teacher room or reception.
  • Observers may not participate in any classes and may not be students, teachers, or Studio Owners.
  • RESONANCE reserves the right to limit the number of observers allowed into each room dependent upon space limitations.
  • Make sure bands are visible to RESONANCE staff at all times.
  • Observers are to sit quietly with their belongings pushed all the way to the wall to provide the maximum amount of space for the dancers.
  • No photos or videos are permitted during class time, however still shot photos are permitted at the conclusion of each class to allow for photos with the faculty, etc.
  • Any observer found to be disruptive during class (ie talking loudly, calling out dancers, taking photos or videos, etc) will be asked to leave the classroom.
  • One Day observer bands are not available.
  • To ease stress on parents and teachers, each Intermediate, Advanced and Teacher participant in the workshop will receive a bagged lunch for both Saturday and Sunday during RESONANCE.
  • What the lunches include will vary by city and venue.
  • RESONANCE directors should be notified of any dietary restrictions or allergies at the time of registration.
  • NO REFUNDS OR REIMBURSEMENTS will be given if someone opts to provide their own lunch.
  • Mini Convention dancers and observers will not receive a lunch.
